MYA LAMBRECHT

She learned the craft of goldsmithing and jewelry design from her godmother as a child.
She spent every free minute in the studio and found her passion there.
When her godmother sadly passed away at an early age, Mya was suddenly faced with the crucial question of what to do with the studio and the art that connected her and her aunt.
And Mya took the plunge - she ventured into self-employment and took over the studio. Mya creates extraordinary pieces of jewelry - each one tells a story and seems to be a perfect symbiosis of materials that at first glance do not fit together. Many pieces of jewelry incorporate unique antique pieces that Mya has collected worldwide over the years. These form the heart of each piece of jewelry.
Mya has added a handwritten note to each individual piece of jewelry stating which unusual individual pieces were used.
We met Mya in person and were fascinated by both her and her extraordinary work.
She herself describes her work as follows:
"I am interested in the history of people and their relationship to the world. I am fascinated by the synthesis of objects that don't seem to fit together. I find beauty in chaos and forgiveness for mistakes. This concept never gets old for me, and just as life is not as orderly and delicate as a string of pearls, neither is my jewelry."
She creates wearable art and we are delighted to be the only German store to present these beautiful pieces of jewelry to you.
